About

Hi, I'm Jess and I'm So Glad You're Here.

Some people find fitness because they love it. I found it because I was falling apart.

The Turning Point

Back in 2015, I was the person who knew better but wasn't doing better. Long hours at a desk, eating out for every meal, no real movement, no real rest. I told myself I'd get it together eventually until a health scare made eventually feel a lot more urgent.

That was my turning point.

I got certified, got hired at a gym, and never looked back. Not because it was easy, but because I fell in love with something I never expected to: the process of transformation. Not just the physical but the kind that changes how you carry yourself, how you show up, how you feel about who you're becoming.

That's what I've spent the last 11 years chasing for myself and for the people I work with.

The Credential Nobody Prints on a Certificate

Over the years, I've collected a lot of certifications. But the credential that shapes how I coach most? Burnout.

After years of coaching seven days a week and pouring everything into everyone around me, I hit a wall. I was doing what I loved and it was still breaking me down. So in 2022, I moved into burnout and life coaching, because I realized that helping people get stronger was only part of the work. The other part was helping them build a life that doesn’t require them to run on empty just to keep up.

Now, LionHeart is where those two worlds meet.

How Jess Coaches

I'm not here to hand you a meal plan and a macro spreadsheet and call it coaching.

I'm here to coach the whole person: your body, your habits, your mindset, and the way you experience your own life. My favorite client wins have nothing to do with the scale. They're the moments someone says I handled that without falling apart or I actually trusted myself orI feel like myself again.

That's what LionHeart is built for.

Through strength training, nutrition, corrective movement, and sustainable habits, we build something that lasts — not a 6-week transformation, but a foundation you can stand on for the rest of your life.

Off the Clock

Home in Fraser

When I'm not coaching, I'm at home in Fraser with my husband, my daughter, and my two dogs, DC and Freyja. They're my favorite reason to protect my own energy, which, as it turns out, is something I now teach for a living.
